If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the journey of creating this deck, it’s that nothing is set in stone. Growth is constant, and evolution is inevitable. Just as Seeds of Light was designed to move with you through every phase of your journey, this deck itself has walked through many phases of its own.

The Seeds of Light Oracle that you will soon hold in your hands was not born overnight. It has taken years of refinement—of trial and transformation—to become what it is today.

The earliest designs were stunningly deep, moody, and rich. The colors were intoxicating, the artwork breathtaking. There was vibrancy—almost neon at times—but there was also a weight to it. It was powerful but felt more occult than light, and something about it never quite settled as home.

I still remember the first card that was designed: Death.

It was profound and heavy, created just after my designer, Stephanie, experienced a loss in her family. The energy in that card was undeniable, but it set a tone for the deck that didn’t quite align with the manuscript (which, at that time, was still in progress). The colors were both striking and jarring, and while they told a powerful story, they weren’t the full story of this deck’s essence.

The next evolution came when we lightened things up. This version introduced beautiful rainbow light leaks across the cards, adding a sense of dimension and fluidity. Some of the original cards—like Renewal and Lady in Red—still held onto their richness, but the palette as a whole became more open and expansive.

I started to truly fall in love with the deck for the first time. But then, something happened.

It stalled. Again.

That familiar nudge came through… It’s not done yet. It’s still waiting for its final form.

The turning point came when I fully stepped into the title: Seeds of Light. That was when the designs snapped into place, like puzzle pieces finally finding where they belonged.

The final aesthetic carries a luminescence that embodies the soul of this deck—one that speaks to the manuscript in ways I couldn’t have imagined before. The energy of each card feels alive, and with every new one that comes through (yes, we’re still finalizing the last few!), I feel an electric sense of excitement for what’s to come.
