It's no secret that Seeds of Light has grown and evolved me as a person. This deck has required me to stretch, step up, expand, embody, and most of all, have faith.

Originally, it was supposed to be a small-scale self-published deck that might reach a thousand people in my lifetime, if I was lucky... But God had other plans.

Timelines got delayed, things got placed on the backburner as other areas of my life needed my attention, and one day Stephanie, my publisher, approached me and asked if I'd like to traditionally publish the deck instead. I jumped at the opportunity... which delayed the deck by another 12-18 months.

You see, my expected timeline had to fall apart so that God's timeline could fall together.

During the time between completing edits and printing, I felt a strong series of pulls on my heart to come back to my Christian roots. I was resistant but open, and the more I tiptoed back, quietly behind the scenes, the more right everything felt. My life started to shift in big, drastic ways for the better. I started feeling more peace and fulfillment in my life than I ever had in the new age realm. I've come to develop a strong connection with Jesus, and am surrounded by a church family that embodies everything I believe a good human should... all because they are devoted to living their lives in a way that glorifies God.

That left me wondering: where the heck do I stand with the Seeds of Light Oracle? The Bible says divination is an abomination, yet I feel so strongly that this deck is here to help and awaken humanity. I had to take some time and space in prayer to discern where I was being asked to go from here, and I've come to the conclusion that this deck can be used as a tool to hear God's will and work in your life.

My hope is that you use it as such. Not as a tool of predicting the future, manipulating timelines, or giving false hope, but rather as a way to hear God speak in your life.

For some of you, this isn't going to resonate, and that's okay. There is no judgment from me, only love. This deck is completely neutral and can be used how you see fit.

But for those of you who have been on the same or similar journey, who are curious about why they're feeling the nudge to "come home" to God... I am going to be using this blog to connect these cards back to biblical teachings, and serving as a bridge between new age beliefs and biblical truth.
